CREIA is in the process of rolling out some great Educational Road Shows for the Spring. Working closely with Chapter Education Committees, we are instituting new methods and venues for the Educational topics you have asked for in your local areas. We have already seen full attendance at Ventura College with Douglas Hansen's Bonding and Grounding seminar in conjunction with the LAVC Chapter, a full house in Sacramento/Delta Chapter with Joe Zaabadick on Gas Fired Appliances and a large turn out for Peter Boyd's new Pool and Spa presentation in San Diego/North County.
Upcoming will be a business track presentation by Dominic Maricic on Web Site Creation and Search Engine Optimization at Sacramento on May 1. Dominic is CREIA's new webmaster and has done wonders with our antiquated kludged together old site.
Be patient with the new website. There is a huge amount of data being brought into the new site and soon will have all the functionality you expect.
Joe Zaabadick is returning to Woodland Hills at the LAVC Chapter on May 7. If you have not seen Joe's presentation, it is a must! Furnaces, gas appliances, venting issues all demonstrated with operational full scale devices.
Peter Boyd will be presenting his Pool and Spa seminar at Bakersfield on June 12. The new Pool and Spa contract should be available at that time.
And do not forget the Simpson Strong-Tie seminars that are available as No Charge events for CEC credit. This is a membership benefit brought to you by the Membership Committee and Education Committee. There are eight seminars around California through the end of the year. Sign up these workshops online at www.strongtie.com. Follow the instructions for a Certificate of Attendance and submit that to email@example.com for credits.
