Welcome to the Silicon Valley Chapter of ASHI-CREIA
The area served by the Silicon Valley Chapter of CREIA/ASHI stretches 120 miles with almost 4 million residents from San Francisco’s spectacular Golden Gate bridge, to the heart of Silicon Valley, and beyond to the beautiful Monterey Bay. Companies such as Google, Apple, and Hewlett-Packard make their home’s here; as well as financial institutions, some of the riches farming land in the country, and other well known national and international businesses. The diverse population of the area requires inspectors who can inspect manufactured homes, condos, and multi-million dollar estates.
Where the median price of a home in the Bay Area is continually rising, home inspections have become an integral part of real estate sales; and the demand for qualified inspectors, both for sellers and buyers has been on a steady increase. The chapter strives to ensure that members maintain high levels of professionalism, knowledge, and quality in their reporting. The Silicon Valley Chapter of CREIA/ASHI has played an important role in bringing together the new and seasoned inspector; providing them with education through our monthly meetings and seminars.
