I am truly honored to have been chosen by the Board of Directors to be the Chairman of the Board for this next fiscal year. I would like to thank Steve John for his leadership and commitment to this Association in guiding us through a success management transition.
Russell Simmons, the American business magnate once said, "I've been blessed to find people who are smarter than I am, and they help me execute the vision I have." Likewise I am honored to have the opportunity to work with a very talented group of staff, board members, chapter leaders and committees. We are ready to roll up our sleeves and make this the best year ever for CREIA. In a 1996 article in the Harvard Business Review James C. Collins and Jerry I. Porras made the observation that, “Companies that enjoy enduring success have core values and a core purpose that remain fixed while their business strategies and practices endlessly adapt to a changing world." This observation applies to our individual businesses as well as to our association. It’s what sets you apart from your competition. Your purpose, values and goal are a picture of WHO you are. What is the Core Purpose of CREIA? What are our Core Values and what is the primary goal of our Association? These were established some time ago at one of our Strategic Planning Meetings.
