Updates to The Plumbing Code

1 CEC - No Charge

Our local Board has been discussing different methods to help maintain the group's finances while still bringing us together for camaraderie and education. We are leaning towards a policy of charging $10.00 per CEC, while also allowing Members or Associates to join the remote meeting and education free of charge without earning any formal CEC's.

On another note.. The State Board has offered to take over individual chapter finances and virtual training due to the lack of volunteers for chapter leadership in some areas. As you know, our current board is comprised of members who have served in the past, some for years on end due to a lack of ready volunteers. We have had serious discussions about transferring our chapter responsibilities to The State.

We're hoping for input/discussion from the group regarding these policies, or any other ideas you might have during the first half hour of the December meeting. We will open up the meeting at 5:45 to get things started.

Thursday, December 17th, 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM, we will visit awhile, discuss the changes to our CEC policy, and possible transfer of chapter finances/taxes to the State Board, then Michael Casey will enlighten us on the updates we should be aware of concerning The Plumbing Code.
