Crawl Spaces in Coastal Climates
Both vented and unvented conditioned crawlspaces can work in coastal climates, in fact, they can work in all climates, but it is not obvious how to construct vented crawlspaces correctly… or how to construct unvented conditioned crawlspaces correctly. Both approaches will be covered.

Wildfire Construction
Easy, don’t vent your roof… don’t vent your cladding… don’t vent your crawlspace… Easy to say, but not easy to do. Easier in new construction… retrofitting existing can be easy but not obvious. What should be obvious is not obvious but will be made obvious in this session.

How to construct high and dry? That is easy. What if you can’t be high and dry? What if you are low and know you will get wet? How do you build? How do you retrofit? How do you rebuild?

Net Zero Retrofits
You think this is easy? If you can’t do math or physics and have never built anything… everything seems easy. Slapping up some PV and banning gas does not get you very far…

Covid-19 Construction Changes Coming
