Gas appliance venting is a commonly misunderstood topic. The changing design of gas-burning appliances has outpaced the codes and requires an educated workforce and inspection community. This seminar will cover the properties of fuel gas, burners, vent system categories, combustion air, Category I vent materials, vent terminations, vent sizing, draft hoods, vent connectors, chimneys, wall furnaces, Category IV high-efficiency appliances, and direct-vent systems.
